From Storyteller Studios, with the Vachel Lindsay Association, State Historic Sites Springfield, and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, The Life and Work of Vachel Lindsay is a film made for tourists and visitors to the Vachel Lindsay Home State Historic Site in Springfield, Illinois that explores the eclectic and passionate story of one of America’s most notable artists. It explores his influences and upbringing in the early 1900s and brings Lindsay’s poems to life through performances by actors and Lindsay experts.
Interviewed experts include Jennifer Caldwell, David Logan, Kevin Purcell, Sheila Ryan, and Ian Winterbauer. The film was directed by Kevin Christensen of Storyteller Studios.
