Storytelling was how we made sense of a wild, unpredictable world. It was how we survived, connected, and found meaning. It wasn’t just a way to communicate. It was the way to communicate.
It’s nothing new.
In this blog series, The First Language, we’ll explore the origin and evolution of storytelling. From ancient myths to modern marketing, from griots to Mad Men, we’ll uncover why stories remain our most powerful tool for connection and influence. Along the way, we’ll delve into the science of why stories stick, the art of crafting narratives, and the timeless ways they shape our world.
